Benjamin Wiener has been involved in ceramics for almost 20 years as both an artist and curator, starting in Japan and based currently in New York. Before founding his design studio and gallery in 2008, he worked in antique and contemporary art galleries and then in architecture, interior design and the modern furnishings industry.

Wiener is committed to advancing ceramic design through a couture approach to craft based in Organic Minimalism. Realizing a project's aesthetic needs, incorporating the honest use of material and honoring the creative process of artisans is the studio's continuing mission.
